Apple MacBook White 13' MC516LL/A 250GB HDD Intel 2.40GHz 8GB Yosemite.
EGW Writings for macOS: Read from Ellen G. White Writings beautifully designed, easy-to-use, native application for M1 Apple Silicon Mac's. Designed for Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac Pro, iMac, and Mac Mini computers. The White Estate just released EGW Writings version 6 for macOS. It incorporates several new updates making this app the most powerful Bible and Spirit of Prophecy combination study tool software available on a Apple Mac computer.
- First-generation white polycarbonate MacBook, 2006 The original MacBook, available in black or white colors, was released on June 28, 2006, and used the Intel Core Duo processor and 945GM chipset, with Intel's GMA 950 integrated graphics on a 667 MHz front side bus.
- I also use a late 2009 macbook white, with no hardware upgrade since the day I bought it. Ever since I upgraded to Yosemite, it's taking me forever to open files, apps, surf the net, etc. The rainbow wheel (or whatever it's called) is just appearing every so often.
This software was designed and recoded to work natively on the latest Apple Silicon chipsets for M1 MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and Mac mini computers running macOS 11 Big Sur. It will also work seamlessly on current and older Intel based Mac computers running macOS Yosemite through to Big Sur. The Ellen G. White Estate has put a lot of time and energy over the past 5 years developing this software for the Mac community. Dark Mode support is continued in this application with a few color and design layout tweaks. There are new updates to Study Center and support for syncing your study center and user date to our new EGW Cloud ecosystem. (Allows you to sync your Study Center with EGW Cloud to all current EGW Writings apps for iOS, Android, and Windows and Web. (Long as you login with the same EGW Cloud account on all devices.) We've added new search filters for Collections, Dates, and Ordered Search. We also included saved workspaces just for macOS users, and updated the app with the latest edition of My Library that allows you to use the app like Kindle books. My Library will keep track of the last read location in every books you download and read. We pray you love the new updates to EGW Writings for macOS!
Compatible with: macOS 11 Big Sur (M1 + Intel), macOS Catalina 10.15; macOS Mojave 10.14; macOS High Sierra 10.13; macOS Sierra 10.12; El Capitan OS X 10.11; and Yosemite OS X 10.10 Premium editing software.
Please send us a feedback email. If there is a feature you would like, please let us know and we will consider it. Your feedback will help make the EGW Writings app better for all Mac users.

Quietly unveiled without a press release -- just like the model it replaced -- the Apple MacBook 'Core 2 Duo' 2.13 13-Inch (White - Mid-2009) features a 45 nm 'Penryn' 2.13 GHz Intel 'Core 2 Duo' processor (P7450), with two independent processor 'cores' on a single silicon chip, a 3 MB shared 'on chip' level 2 cache, a 1066 MHz frontside bus, 2 GB of 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-6400) installed in pairs (two 1 GB modules), a 160 GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) hard drive, an 8X DL 'SuperDrive', a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 'graphics processor with 256 MB of SDRAM shared with main memory', and a 13.3' widescreen TFT active-matrix 'glossy' display (1280x800 native resolution).
The MacBook 'Core 2 Duo' 2.13 13' (White - Mid-2009) shares the same white polycarbonate case as the MacBook 'Core 2 Duo' 2.0 13' (White - Early 2009) that it replaced and connectivity is the same as well with AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n), Gigabit Ethernet, a FireWire '400' port, two USB 2.0 ports, optical digital audio in/out, and video out capabilities (mini-DVI) that supports an external display. The hard drive is larger and the memory is faster. Interestingly, Apple also officially claims that this model provides 5 hours of battery life (up from 4.5 hours on the model replaced).
Internally, this system has quite a bit in common with the MacBook 'Core 2 Duo' 2.0 13' (Unibody) and is equipped with the same NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, but uses a faster processor and slower RAM (800 MHz DDR2 compared to 1066 MHz DDR3 in the 'Unibody' models).
